"Motorist Sociopathy" is a term coined by Streetsblog's Aaron Naparstek which relates the behaviors of some New York City motorists to the definition of sociopathy - an antisocial disorder generally diagnosed in individuals who consistently disregard or violate the rights of others. Naparstek's book Honku: The Zen Antidote for Road Rage, was inspired by his observations of these behaviors (i.e. excessive  honking).
