    New York 1 is going to do a story on the lack of lighting on the portion of the West Side Greenway (under the elevated highway in the mid 60s) and how this creates a very dangerous situation during the evening for Greenway users.

New York 1 is looking to interview a UWS resident who uses the Greenway and this specific portion on a daily basis.

This sounds like a great opportunity to help shine a light on this issue!

    That area has been a hazard ever since they opened it up.  I've nearly plowed
into countless joggers and roller bladers who weren't wearing lights, even
though I was riding slowly.

Glad someone's finally taking a look at it...
