  • tabling at the New York Jewish Environmental Bike Ride

    Hi everyone,

I work at Hazon, a Jewish environmental group based here in the city. Our big event is coming up -- the 8th Annual Jewish Environmental Bike Ride, which is a two-day retreat and a two-day bike ride all to support environmental causes.

We are going to have a tabling opportunity at the Jewish Theological Seminary (122 and Broadway) after our cyclists ride into the city on Monday, September 1. Our nearly 200 riders will have cycled about 100+ miles over 2 days, learned about environmental causes and will be really excited to get involved in transportation issues right in their own backyards. Their families and friends will also join them to celebrate their accomplishments as they return to the city.

I'm writing to invite members of the Upper West Side Streets Renaissance campaign to be a presence at that post-ride celebration. The first riders will arrive at JTS at about 2 pm and depart by about 5. You will have a table throughout that time and really be able to get the word out to some folks who are primed to get involved.

    Again, the details:

WHO: riders, family and friends of the New York Jewish Environmental Bike Ride
WHAT: tabling at Hazon's post-ride celebration
WHEN: 1:30 set up, 2 pm first riders arrive until 5 pm on September 1
WHERE: Jewish Theological Seminary, 3080 Broadway at 122nd
