Hey all- i'm working on a photo series for the Brooklyn Biking Rules
PSA in concept of the photos Paco and came up w/ awhile back showing
the biking lineup at Grand Army Plaza (seen as the banner on the
homepage of the Brooklyn TA Committee Google Group). I'd like to take
this lineup concept and illustrate a couple of the biking rules/
etiquette in a variety of spots in Brooklyn. I'm working on the exact
locations but i expect it will take about 2 hours and we'll have lots
of fun riding around.

I need you to RSVP so i can know i have enough people (i'd like at

We'll start at 5:30PM in Prospect Park and venture to the Manhattan
Bridge (the new Sands lane) and perhaps Dumbo. i'm still figuring out
the route and specific locations but if anyone has any ideas/iconic
brooklyn spots- please make suggestions. I'd very much like this to be
a brooklyn committee collaboration so here are some of my initial
ideas:

-shot w/ the line up of bikers (like in grand army plaza shoot),
riding correctly on a one way and a helmetless biker riding at them
the wrong way
-shot in Prospect Park w/ the lineup stopped at the lights while
people crossing
-2 shots- one w/ the lone biker followed by a ton of cars; second
shot- 1 car followed by a ton of bikers in busy downtown brooklyn
-shot w/ lineup w/ everyone hand signaling (synchronized hand
signaling... exciting!)
-shot showing someone riding on sidewalk, maybe the lineup beckoning
the sidewalk rider to join them...
-shot w/ a big group of bikers w/ everyone wearing one less car
shirts, and only 1 car in the shot...

SO: Sunday Aug. 16th, 5:30PM meeting at Grand Army Plaza Park entrance
(where we met for the scavenger hunt).
