Projects We're Working on:
We've got lots of goals big and small this year, and always welcome new ideas and volunteers. But if you're looking for some projects to dive into, check these out.
1. Parking spot swaps - Sidewalk Neckdowns combined with bike parking
4. New bike lanes & a cycle track in Brooklyn:

WORK IN PROGRESS
We fight for safer streets in many ways, and last year's goal list shows our many successes, but here's some projects we've got our eyes on this year.
Pedestrian Plazas (Natalia & Paco)
Supporting Traffic Calming on major arterials like Flatbush, Atlantic and 4th Avenues (this needs a leader!)
Bike Infrastructure/Lanes:
Support/Advocate for Bike Share in Brooklyn/NYC (needs a leader)
Outreach/Education/T.A. Membership:
T.A. Brooklyn Committee Membership Drive (needs leader)
Community Board attendance and involvement (Sholom)
Legislative/City Agency Issues:
Enforcement of traffic laws for drivers (needs leader)
Police Precinct Outreach (needs leader)
Mass Transit Issues:
Bus Rapid Transit Advocacy (needs leader – some committee members are already working with T.A. staff on this)
Bike Racks on Buses, starting w/Verrazano Bridge
Ongoing Goals:
5th Avenue Complete Street Campaign (Martha)
Support Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway
Car-Free Prospect Park (Mark Guralnick)
Biking Rules! outreach/education (can/should be incorporated throughout all of the goals)
Other projects that people can lead:
Inbar can define common terms such as BID, DOT, etc. in the minutes and someplace on the google group
Liase w/the MTA to promote bicycling as part of a commute (Marin)
