13 January 2009 - Community members and TA volunteers and staffers filled the Swinging Sixties Senior Center with positive testimony in favor of both the Kent Ave lanes and ousted CB#1 Transportation Committee Chair Teresa Toro (she was reinstated at the February meeting). Estimates put the number of speakers in favor of the lanes at somewhere around 60, and though we sometimes get ahead of ourselves, it's certainly fair to say there were a plethora of positive voices.
