CollegeBikes
CollegeBikes.com is not only selling bikes with university logos/colors (red and black, anyone?), but is now working with schools to develop bike sharing programs. They write:
The Collegiate Bicycle Company, producer of official college and university bicycles, has developed a public bike sharing system, specifically tailored for colleges and universities. This system is a fully automated bike share network, similar to the European models in Paris and Barcelona, but without the intrusion of advertisements. It is a self-regulating and self-financing investment in the campus – a practical solution to expensive parking, traffic, and transportation issues.
This could be an interesting venture for Wesleyan.
