Eliminate speeding to beat traffic lights.

I am seeking shared ideas, leadership, organization, and action to ELIMINATE the very common but lethally dangerous motorist practice of speeding up to get through an intersection before a traffic light turns red. This is a city. These are not highways. Just because drivers habitually treat these dense, pedestrian-saturated streets like highways doesn't mean we shouldn't change that behavior, in fact it's all the more reason we should.
