About the Coalition:
New Haven Safe Streets is a broad coalition of individual organizations, elected officials and residents who are all advocating for streets that are livable, walkable, bikeable, economically viable, environmentally sound, and safe for residents of all ages and abilities.

The coalition has been organizing since May 2008, but many of our individual members have been conducting related work for a decade or more. We are always looking for dedicated volunteers and interns who wish to get involved and spearhead a piece of the campaign.
