Awesome ideas! I had heard that the city was considering an East/West bike lane for 145th as well - this would help connect the Heights with Central Harlem and the Bronx. Double-parking is a huge issue in the neighborhood. Little enforcement. The bike lanes at St. Nicholas/145th (uptown side) are blocked more times than not (fish anyone?) often by the police themselves. See http://nyc.mybikelane.com/ for pics or to post one of your own. We can attend the monthly community police meetings to advocate for change. The next one is 8/27 at 7:30 at the 30th Precinct on 151st St - between Convent-Amsterdam. (451 W 151st). Thanks- Steven
