    Sarah,

I've been swamped at work and can't make the meeting with Craig but its
wonderful he's ready to sit down and go over it all. I think learning the
traffic calming plans on the table from the study years ago is key, but the
streets may have to be re-evaluated as traffic patterns may have changed. My
gut says biking along the Smith street corridor especially has gone up even
more than the 2004 study coudl have anticipated. therefore, the strong ideas
already on the table may just be a foundation but neckdowns, bike swaps, and
    might also now be necessary.

Also, if possible, please bring the need for more bike racks. Smith street
business leader Bette Stolcz and I did a brief tour and identified several
intersections that may have room for lots more bike racks. Perhaps toss this
    list to him?

    -western corners of 3rd street
-east corners of 2nd street (especially around the southern subway entrance)
-eastern corners of Carrol street, ample room at President Street in front
    of Rite-Aid
    -south-west corner of Union Street
-and Bergen street's northwest might also be ideal for perhaps 10 new racks
with a bike swap of the -one parking spot on the very corner, after the
hydrant. Domino', the closest business, has already voiced support for that
    idea.

Hope you get to read this before the meeting. either way, good luck! Get him
on the livable streets side of things!
