March 15th Field Visit
St. Patrick’s day weekend, and the park was busier than it had been in past visits. We went at 7:30pm.
The Crown Fountain had a good amount of people walking through and taking pictures.
In the winter the Jay Pritzker Pavilion is the least used area of Millennium Park. The Great Lawn is fenced off and visitors are not allowed to walk through it. A few people walked past the pavilion, or stopped to look at it briefly.
Although the park was full of visitors, security was only seen once briefly. The security guard was seen driving a golf cart through the Wrigley Square and Millennium Park Monument area; they drove past hurriedly.
