The number of pedestrians and cyclists using the Brooklyn Bridge has been increasing. This has caused pedestrians and cyclists to fight over the relatively narrow walkway. We feel that both groups have a right to use the bridge, and they should be favored over motorists. Therefore we support taking one of the six lanes that are currently dedicated to motorists and allocating it to bicycles, and restricting cyclist use of the current walkway.
