I am an undergrad in ENV planning and management with a minor in GIS and photography. I hope to go to graduate school for Transportation planning, focusing on cycling and walkability infrastructure and development. I have an unhealthy love for trams and high speed trains. I love my bike, she is my baby and it seems I am always getting her gifts. I am all weather cyclist, but I have a hard time cycling in rain at night due to the fact I wear glasses and I end up not being able to see anything after about a minute. I got interested in transportation this past spring on a study abroad at the University of Leeds in the UK. I have done work on case studies with Sustrans UK and through the Leeds U-Travel Active. I see so much room for improvement in the US I sometimes am overwhelmed, everywhere I go I try to take pictures of the infrastructure to add to my collection. I am stuck in a car-centric town in way up-state NY, but its residentially compact with neighborhood schools and an active parent base, there is hope here but many obstacles to overcome for truly livable streets.
I was born and when not in school still live in Dover, NH. I have gone to school at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. University of New Hampshire, in Durham, NH. University of Leeds, Leeds, UK. and SUNY Plattsburgh in Plattsburgh, NY.
