- I am a new, enthusiastic and admiring resident of Portland. Idealistic, principled community activist focused on achieving -- not talking about -- social justice. Lived for 35 years in NJ, served as executive aide to chairman of Bergen County Board of Legislators and also two elected terms on the school board and then as executive director of NJ Common Cause; and 9 years in Washington, DC, devoted to make walking, biking and transiting from Point A to Point B more safe and convenient.
