I am a senior at the University of Illinois-Chicago. I have an interest in Medically Sociology but I want to integrate the urban poor into my studies. I also have an interest in public space, demography and urban culture. Hopefully, I will be a research assistant next year with the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois-Chicago (helping them write a grant for funding on studies on Medically Undeserved Areas). It may sounds a bit dry and boring, but I find it quite interesting. After all that, I will hopefully end up being a professor of sociology in some urban area I love.
