Bike Miami Days is the only monthly cyclovia in the United States (*woohoo*) but we don't want it to stay that way...
Begun in November 2008 by City of Miami Mayor Manny Diaz, the event promotes community, livable streets and car-free transportation. The event is entirely free- there is no registration, starting or end points, sponsors or dedicated staff for this event. Instead, staff from across the City work with volunteers on Sunday (sometimes Saturday) a month to bring a car-free day to South Florida.

biking, walking, trikkes, free yoga, live music, free bike tune-ups, skateboarding, dancing in the streets, people-watching, volunteers, collaboration, civic action, public rallys, open space, supporting local business and promoting livable streets in an unconventional way.
