- Upper West Sider for a quiet, pleasant and people-friendly neighborhood and city. Working with my synagogue (B'Nai Jeshurun) to transform our street (88th Street between Broadway and West End Avenue) into a "complete street." What is a complete street? See http://www.completestreets.org/early.html. For our little residential side-street we're considering traffic calming chicanes, benches and mini-parks for pedestrians, and raised crosswalks and bulb-outs at the corners for safety.
