There is some argument about what the slowest bus in New York is.  Even though M23 bus won 2007's Pokey Award for the slowest bus, there is no argument that the M96 Bus is not far behind.  In this project let us discuss some ways of speeding this bus up.

There is another proposal to speed up the route by making a minor modification to route of the bus.  The dotted line represents a U-Turn just west of Riverside Drive.  Changing the route in this way might save 2-4 minutes:
